In 2010 J Steel Australasia Pty Ltd and ArcelorMittal Projects Singapore Pte Ltd formed a joint venture company, ArcelorMittal Projects Australia. Formed to bring expertise from international oil & gas projects to the region and provide innovative customized solutions to the fast growing oil and gas sector within Australasia.
Our capability in this sector draws from our expertise in shipbuilding, petrochemical and offshore engineering projects throughout the world. The main applications include offshore platforms, LNG Tanks and Terminals, FPSO vessels, Linepipes, and Chemical / Power Plants.
Our global experiences, the established relationships with mills and stockists within and outside the ArcelorMittal Group, and a thorough understanding of our clients’ complex project business allows our team to focus on developing mutually beneficial partnerships with our customers. Complex and challenging projects can incorporate large volumes of (different) materials, specialty products, complex logistics, stringent quality documentation and high technical demands, often with short lead times.
