As one of the premier sustainability conferences in the industry, TRANSFORM brought together thought leaders, innovators, and experts dedicated to shaping a net-zero future.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for the J Steel team to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and explore innovative pathways toward a sustainable built environment. A key focus of the discussions was the role of low-carbon steel solutions in decarbonising construction and infrastructure projects.
A great first day at TRANSFORM 2025 featured standout sessions like ‘Exploring Circularity in Practice through Adaptive Reuse and Repurpose’, which highlighted the critical role of reusing and refurbishing existing buildings in creating a more sustainable future. As we work toward lowering carbon emissions and reducing construction waste, adaptive reuse is essential in extending the life of our built environment while preserving heritage, reducing material consumption, and promoting circular design.
Day two featured our very own Marion Charlier who gave an insightful session on ArcelorMittal’s decarbonisation initiatives. Her presentation reinforced the industry’s commitment to sustainability and highlighted the pivotal role of XCarb® Recycled and Renewably Produced steel in reducing carbon footprints. As demand grows for responsible and innovative materials, these solutions are shaping the future of sustainable construction.
At our booth, we had the pleasure of engaging with many attendees, discussing how sustainable steel solutions can contribute to their projects.
