Circular Economy

Steel that gets a second life

Press-In Piling makes extraction practical: at the end of a temporary works program, sheet piles are readily extracted rather than abandoned in the ground. On projects like Macdonald Street Widening, J Steel bought back the extracted piles for sale and reuse, keeping steel in circulation and out of landfill.

Recognised by Brisbane Move with a Certificate of Recognition for exceptional sustainability performance on Brisbane City Council's Brisbane Metro project.
